I love it when we have meetings at work that turn out to be a learning experience. Today I had a workshop with New Citizenship Project, experts in brand purpose and champions of seeing consumers as citizens.
With New Citizenship Project
I worked with NCP on the research and strategy behind the Parkinson's UK 'Team Parkinson's' membership relaunch. They are some of the brightest, loveliest people i've ever had the luck to work with.
In the workshop we looked at our members and what we offer them, how we could nurture the relationships we already have and create more. I feel like I learned a lot.
They recently released a report entitled 'Citizen Shift' which offers a new way of understanding the period of change we're currently in as humans. It explains a shift from Consumer to Citizen as the role of the individual in society. Definitely worth a read.
