27. KonMari method

Updated: Jan 28, 2019

I woke up this morning with a slightly frantic need to tidy everything. This happens as regularly as clockwork every January, I pull everything out of the cupboards onto the floor and then get bored.

But after tackling my under bed storage i was still hungry for more mess so began on my clothing units. Faced with two very messy drawers I headed to Marie Kondo's YouTube channel for inspiration and tips. If you don't know who she is then it's time to tidy away the rock you've been hiding under.

Marie suggests that having a tidy home, and the actual process of tidying itself, brings happiness and we should only have objects around us that bring joy. I'm not sure that's wholly feasible but her folding method is quite nifty,

The inner nerd in me is thrilled with my new drawers and I learned 2 key things:

1. Tidiness does promote joy

2. Folding thongs with a hand tremor does not
