158. Learning puppetry

I bought Edna on a whim at the food market in Melbourne a couple of years ago and have loved her ever since.

She normally sits on the back of my sofa just looking intense (most people who visit my house are scared of her!) and I've never actually used her to perform.

When asked to do standup at a few upcoming events i decided to try and incorpororate her as something a bit different. My first gig with her in tow is on monday and i've only just sat down today to write something so this might end up being shambolic.

Today i've been writing a few scripts and bonding with her as well as trying to get practical tips.
