I'm back in the yellow craft heaven (Ikea) and today we're learning weaving skills to make a rag rug.

This is so simple, you only need scrap fabric torn into strips, a piece of cardboard and some scissors. Weaving the fabric strips across strands running down the cardboard makes a surprisingly tight knit fabric that looks really cozy.

For now we just learnt the technique on a smaller piece which i'll use as a matt but i would definitely feel comfortable making a larger rug.
