Sometimes you just want cake. Not a whole cake just a little bit. With some ice cream. Yum. I'd seen that you can make a cake in the microwave inside a mug so I'll give it a shot.
INGREDIENTS
4 Tbsp. cake flour (plain, not self-raising)
4 Tbsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. cocoa
1 egg
3 Tbsp. milk
3 Tbsp. oil
Small splash of vanilla essence
METHOD
1. Mix together dry ingredients in a large cup
2. Add egg, milk, oil and vanilla essence and stir well
3. Microwave for 3 minutes.
4. Let it cool a little before eating (speaking from experience) It was pretty light and tasty for something that had been microwaved! It won't be winning Bake Off anytime soon but it was surprisingly good.
