Tonight we were cooking Mexican food for a friend's birthday so I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to try making margaritas.
The only problem was that I only had some of the ingredients and the shops were closed. With a few tenuous substitutions we had something that was margarita-esque and very strong.
MARGARITA RECIPE
500ml crushed ice
240ml tequila
2 limes, juiced
Splash Triple Sec
Splash simple syrup
NAAAAAAAAHGARITA RECIPE
No ice so use frozen strawberries
240ml stuff we think might be like tequila
2 lemons, juiced
Splash Triple Sec (most obscure thing on the ingredients list and that's the one thing I had)
Some sugar
Random blueberries
