I'm a bit of a technology nerd. I've stopped trying to pretend I'm not anymore. So it was with much glee that I learned I was getting smart tech installed in my home this week.
And that's all I can tell you. Because at Parkinson's UK we don't talk about technology until it's been rigorously tested and passed by the noses of our panel of users with Parkinson's. This is a system I set up and I'm not about to dodge my own rules.
But I'll just say this more generally, I truly believe technology is the present and future of our care as patients and as humans. I made this little video with Parkinson's UK that explains more.
